Rich history meets modern elegance in the heart of Sydney at The Porter House. This redevelopment of the iconic 1876 masterpiece is looking for a Purchasing Officer.We want someone to share their passion and start their new journey with us!

Located in the heart of the CBD, this building masterpiece offers an exceptional location, an exciting Food & Beverage concept and meeting facilities. The hotel will showcase the best of Australian's Heritage Culture through our hotel, restaurant, conference rooms, cafe and bar. Inspired by the concepts of sustainability and indulgence, hallmarks of this iconic heritage building.

The Role

This position is responsible for considering the interests of the Hotel first in all transactions and activities involved in the search, selection, purchase, receipt, storage and issue of goods and services

To adhere to, and enforce, the Hotel's policies and procedures for purchasing.

Follow up any purchasing queries and inventory analysis

Knowledge & Experience

Excellent internal & external communication skills

Previous experience in a similar role preferably within the Hospitality industry- but not necessary

Sound knowledge and understanding of stores and logistics processes, policies and systems
