Job Description For Room Attendant

Job Description
- Be able to perform the duties necessary to clean guest rooms & public areas
- Follow assigned procedures for room cleaning, check on working condition of lighting, plumbing, television, alarms. Inform supervisor of damaged or dirty furniture's
- Responsible for the security of any keys/key cards issued to him/her
- responsible for of all equipment assigned to her/him (vacuum cleaners, carts)
- Maintain cleanliness of corridors & service areas
- Able to clean 16 rooms per day
- Follows established reporting procedures as directed by the manager
- responsible for carrying out general cleaning duties in one room each day
- Follow establishment fire procedures & regulations.
- Responsible to follow health & safety procedures. responsible to comply with hotel policy & procedures.
Work Experience
- Able to communicate in English. French is an asset.
- Experience in cleaning
- Available and flexible to work weekends, holidays, mornings and evenings as required by business needs.
- Friendly, helpful, representative & reliable
