The Sebel Sydney Chatswood
The Sebel Sydney Chatswood is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Sales Manager to lead the Sales function for our apartment style hotel. This is a Part Time opportunity with flexibility to work 2-3 days per week dependent on the successful candidates requirements.
THE ROLE
Reporting directly to the hotel General Manager, you will be an integral part of the hotel's leadership team and will work closely with the team to sustain, maximise yield and grow business from all target market segments to meet the budgeted revenue, with a particular focus on the MICE market. You will manage strong relationships with senior decision makers from key PCO's, corporate accounts and travel agents. You will set and review sales strategies for business development, reservations sales, and conference and catering sales, and you will also develop, implement and monitor sales and marketing campaigns. You will provide input into the hotel's annual budget, liaise with Head Office on relevant sales initiatives, and will provide training and development to the team around you. You will be the first point of contact for client complaints, and will support the hotels to successfully recover business with positive outcomes.
