Your experience and skills include: - Service focused personality is essentially with at least one year experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant required
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment preferred
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Strong communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities at once
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
- Highly responsible and reliable with impeccable grooming and professionalism
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, beer, cocktails, and specialty coffees
- Valid Serving It Right Certification
- Ability to work fluctuating schedule, including weekends, holidays, evenings, and rotating shifts
- Ability to speak and understand English with professional working proficiency
- Successful candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada; Hotel is unable to assist applicants with Canadian work authorization
Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): - Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Frequent lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
- Frequent kneeling, pushing and pulling
- Frequent ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
- Proven ability to carry three entrée plates or more at one time
