As a Sound engineer you will join a committed Engineering team driven with the intent of delivering 'FIVE-star' Engineering services to a homegrown brand in the heart of vibrant Dubai and glamorous Zurich.

As our ideal candidate, you have exceptional talent and enthusiasm that is above par along with proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push groundbreaking boundaries.

You'll work closely with your HOD to develop constantly evolving service goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and test sound equipment before events, broadcasts or recordings
• Enhance sound quality and add sound effects to recordings
• Record, edit and mix audio tracks (instruments, vocals etc.)
• Work with video editors to synchronize video with audio tracks
• Play backing tracks and special effects during live events
• Collaborate with lighting, camera and other people
• Create and maintain sound libraries
• Resolve technical issues when they arise
• Plan andcoordinate entertainment requirements
• Test and bring innovative audio technology

• Minimum 2 to 4 years' experience as a Sound engineer
• Technical expertise in sound engineering techniques (e.g. equalization)
• Experience with sound editing and recording equipment (e.g. mixing consoles)
• Working knowledge of recording software and hardware
• A team playerwith excellent communication skills
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Excellent hearing and manual dexterity
• High school diploma; Degree in audio/sound engineering or related field is a plus
• Knowlege of Hardware management (studio monitors, MIDI controllers, audio interface, bass traps, reflection filters, acoustic panels, microphones, pop filters, audio systems, speakers, DJ
• Players mixers, amplifiers)
• Knowlege of Digital sound software and mixing techniques (Panning, Compression, Distortion)
• Acoustics and music theory knowledge
• The ability to work independently with good interpersonal skills
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
