VERO restaurant to host The Italian Supper by Fabio and Flavio this May
VERO restaurant housed inside of Hilton Dubai Jumeirah announced the partnership with The Italian Supper Club to host a special dinner event on Saturday 28th May from 7 pm. Fabio and Flavio, self-made chefs and creators of The Italian Supper Club Dubai https://www.instagram.com/theitaliansupper/ are born and brought up in Rome, Italy, and have been residents of the United Arab Emirates for the past 12 years. During all those years in Dubai, they had a chance to meet and become friends with people from all over the world, and is a true Italian spirit they have been inviting them for hearty true Italian meals at their homes. Self-thought Chefs with a huge passion for cooking, very soon became popular in their community for the wonderful food they were preparing, the atmosphere they have been creating and they have often been invited to cook at friends' parties and special events.
It took a global pandemic and lockdown, for Fabio and Flavio to finally find the time from their busy jobs to fully dedicate to their biggest passion – cooking the traditional Italian food for groups of people.
That is how The Italian Supper was born. Born to break down the barriers of socializing and reunite people for good food, The Italian Supper Dubai is now growing month of month welcoming people from all over the world for this cozy dining experience.
It was Chef Andrea who met them at VERO, heard their story, saw a true passion for cooking, and invited them into his kitchen. Together Fabio, Flavio, and Chef Andrea created a special menu incorporating all those Mediterranean flavors into a handpicked selection of dishes and decided to serve it at VERO.
VERO restaurant is looking forward to welcoming guests for this exclusive Italian Supper on Saturday, May 28th from 7 pm. "The 6-course menu will feature dishes like carpaccio and slow-cooked grilled octopus with soft potato sauce to start with, squid ink black squared spaghetti with sea urchins, light garlic sauce, and lemon oil. Carnaroli risotto with authentic Mazara prawns from Sicily, and fava beans puree. Priced at AED 320 per person including soft drinks, a selection of coffees, and The Italian Supper's signature barrel-aged Negroni.
This menu is also available with a pairing of Italian wines at AED 450 per person.
