Position Summary
Job Summary
We're seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Marketing Director to oversee marketing across six key lifestyle properties in the Miami region, including two new hotel openings and two branded residences. This is a high-impact, independent role best suited for a versatile, hands-on marketer who can lead regional efforts without dedicated on-property teams.
The Andaz Miami Beach is an important new opening in the Andaz portfolio, and the Area Marketing Director is key for driving the local, regional and international marketing plan and continue the development of key neighborhood and Miami based partnerships (such as Pride, Easter, Halloween, NYE, Swim Week, Art Basel etc.) You will also be responsible for delivering a range of events, programming and cultural benefits to Andaz and the local community (examples include partnerships with like-minded Brands, Dinner Series, and over the top Brunches).
You'll lead the launch and ongoing marketing of each property, build brand equity, drive revenue through creative campaigns, and create meaningful cultural connections. The role spans content creation, partnerships, programming, digital strategy, PR, and social media, demanding strong executional chops alongside high-level strategic thinking.
Position Responsibilities/ Essential Functions
Key Responsibilities
Regional Brand Strategy
• Lead multi-property brand storytelling, supporting both hotel and residential concepts in alignment with The Lifestyle Group's brand vision.
• Develop and manage annual marketing plans and pre-opening strategies tailored to each property's identity and timeline.
• Serve as the primary marketing point of contact across the properties, collaborating with GMs, sales, F&B, and corporate partners.
Launch Campaigns & Openings
• Drive full go-to-market plans for Andaz Turks & Caicos, both Standard Residences and other Brands in the pipeline, from pre-opening to post-launch.
• Plan and execute integrated campaigns, launch events, and press moments, with special focus on regional relevance and community impact.
• Work closely with PR and creative teams to develop content, programming, and cultural activations to support openings.
Digital, Content & Social
• Own the full content and social media strategy for each property, ensuring each channel is tailored, engaging, and on-brand.
• Brief, manage, and coordinate with content creators, photographers, and digital partners to maintain a steady cadence of high-quality visuals and copy.
• Develop paid and organic strategies to support social growth, drive bookings, and amplify cultural moments.
Influencer & PR Relations
• Take an active lead in managing PR agencies, cultural programming and partnerships with GM, F&B director and any cultural programming or music team to deliver a range of events, programming and cultural benefits to the property and local community.
• Build and manage relationships with media, VIPs, creators, and influencers to drive awareness and buzz across properties.
• Lead press events, media stays, and familiarization trips that build credibility and generate content and coverage.
Cultural Programming
• Partner with F&B teams, programming leads, and cultural institutions to bring neighborhood-relevant events to life.
• Curate moments aligned with Art Basel, Swim Week, Pride, and other regional tentpoles, tailoring activation by property.
Creative & Collateral
• Oversee all creative needs across properties including flyers, menus, signage, branded assets, and email templates.
• Manage external creative support when necessary, and ensure all marketing collateral meets brand standards.
Reporting & Budget
• Develop and track marketing budgets for each property.
• Report monthly on KPIs, campaign performance, ROI, and media coverage to property ownership and corporate leadership.
Business / Commercial
• Ensure that you are aware of current and future business levels, blackout periods, minimum spends, specials and packages as defined by the Director of Revenue in order to implement effective marketing strategies to support the business during low occupancy periods.
• Develop an effective level of financial awareness at all times in relation to revenue lines, the costs of services, supplies and amenities to minimize costs to the business.
