The Business Development Manager will develop, lead, and execute our homeowner acquisition strategy. The Business Development Manager collaborates with other company leaders , to identify, solicit and recruit non-participating owners at our properties to join our rental programs . He/she is responsible for securing new rental contracts by creating and cultivating relationships with realtors and other referral sources, soliciting potential homeowners directly and by working with the property managers to create a proactive process to grow our rental programs. Success will be achieved by actively fostering long term relationships with homeowners, realtors, property managers and Destination Residences Hawaii through trust and execution.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience and proficiency in sales and marketing, vendor/owner acquisitions, business development, market research, appointment setting, performing presentations, and ultimately successfully onboarding new homeowners and residences to within the DRH portfolio.
This demanding role requires a leader to possess exceptional communication skills and experience in sales or hospitality within upscale/luxury resorts. Prior experience in Hawaii is preferred. He/she should excel in owner, guest and associate relations and must be resourceful, highly self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and keen sense of urgency, have exceptional written/verbal communication skills, and be able to guide and direct work teams, individuals, and various operating departments to achieve business development objectives.
