The position supports Greater China hotel development projects and hotel operations in Greater China region.
Negotiating new hotel development deals and supporting business development team in contract execution;
Supporting any franchise and joint venture transactional work in the region;
Assuring appropriate legal administration and maintenance of corporate authorities to conduct business, as well as all in-country compliance activities, including investigation and documenting compliance programs;
Providing legal advice to hotels and operations business units for Greater China region, including employment issues, giving training programs, reviewing marketing materials, etc.
Possess Bachelor of Law with over 5 years of post-qualification working experience, preferably with relevant experience as well as real estate and/or transactional knowledge.
Currently supervising at least one legal executive.
Based in Shanghai and ability to travel.
Admitted to legal practice in the PRC; and preferably another jurisdiction.
Preferably had once trained or worked in an international law firm.
High degree of proficiency and communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Ability to work independently for the assigned job responsibilities.
Possess business acumen, be innovative and self-driven.
