The Deployment Lead of the Central Deployments team will execute the deployment strategies that have been custom designed for each specific project globally. Responsible for implementing projects for new technologies and programs to Hyatt hotels introducing a lighter touch and quick-to-market approach. Having a strong background in hotel operations and Hyatt's core hotel systems, the Deployment Lead will collaborate with hotel colleagues and vendors to successfully deliver solutions to the hotels. Utilizing problem-solving skills to conform and adapt to each hotel's operations, the Deployment Lead will be performing tasks and efforts of the implementation on behalf of the hotel, in addition, taking creative approaches to train hotel colleagues on the technologies to streamline the hotel's overall involvement.
Grounded in listening with the ability to communicate to hotel leadership and technical teams, the deployment lead will gather and respond to hotel feedback to drive cycles of continuous improvement in the implementation of solutions, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and ability to self-direct activities.
The ideal candidate will be able to help lead business-related and project deployment activities for Property Management, Guest Services, Point of Sale, Spa, and all other related systems and integrations. In this role, the individual will be the representative for Hyatt Corporate Office to identify process improvement areas, internal and external training opportunities that will result in meaningful engagement with our hotels, vendors, and Corporate Office Teams.
Ability to communicate to hotel level leadership and global operations leaders to lead them through the deployment journey through an operational lens.
Expertise to conduct webinars and training with hotels to communicate operational/technical changes that are being implemented at the hotel.
Collaborate with the activation and adoption team to maintain continuous improvements of the delivery of technology to hotel operations.
Create customized deployment activity schedules and hold deployment execution calls with hotel leaders before systems implementation.
Collaborate with vendors to identify requirements used to successfully implement and deploy projects.
Ensure chosen vendors are performing as required. Escalate as necessary to drive results.
Execute the deployment strategy with the ability to make system changes for hotels removing added pressure to properties to accomplish tasks.
Ability to manage multiple high priority initiatives in a fast-paced highly operational environment.
Work effectively across functions, regions, operating models, and brands by developing strong working relationships with peers and hotel colleagues to deliver successful on-property services.

3+ years' experience in hotel operations
Experience in conducting classroom training and preparing training documentation
Experience in developing and executing a well-defined approach to problem-solving
Strong process management experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
Solid understanding of Point of Sales, Spa Applications, Sales and Catering Systems, Property Management and Guest Services applications with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
