A Director of Revenue Management is a fully competent individual who provides the hotel's marketing and sales associates with internal and external marketing intelligence to support informed decisions, resulting in an increase in the hotel's overall revenues and maximise profitability. Duties also include undertaking in depth business analysis of each revenue generating department, making recommendations concerning the ideal customer market / base, overall strategy and promotional tactics; constantly developing and updating the hotel's "ideal" business segmentation that leads to the highest overall profitability and to make recommendations based on the findings; delivering forecast accuracy for hotel to better manage the business; ensuring distribution through all channels is in line with Hyatt International Distribution strategy and closely monitoring business shifts between channels; optimizing hotel's pricing strategy to maximize revenue; completing all required Hyatt revenue management tasks.
This role reports to Director of Sales and Marketing.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business or Hospitality Management desired, and more than 5 years of relevant revenue management experience in Hospitality or a related service industry.
