The Event Planning Manager's primary focus is executing Sales and Event contracts. This position acts as the liaison between Meeting Planners and the hotel staff. Responsibilities include: administering the Sales agreement, coordinating details for all meeting and food and beverage functions within the agreement, managing room blocks, confirming billing instructions and final review. The Event Planning Manager is encouraged to be on property during their events to greet client and ensure the smooth execution of all details.

This is a salary position ranging from $66,100 -$95,700

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Refined verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning or comparable experience preferred
• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented, organized and beable to handle a fast paced environment
• Prefer two years hotel experience or completed Event Management trainee program
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift, carry, push and pull a moderate amount of weight
