About the Role
As an energizing and confident Food & Beverage Outlet Team leader, you will join our creative and diverse Food & Beverage team, connecting with people and making things happen at Hyatt Regency Perth. You will be responsible for the supervision and monitoring of the day to day activities of the outlet ensuring colleagues adhere to established standards including preparation of the outlets, sequence of service, cashiering functions and health & safety requirements.

Main Responsibilities
Supervising the daily running of the outlet
Briefing staff on information regarding daily specials, menu items, house wines, groups, VIP's
Assigning tasks and ensure instructions are clear, concise and within the skills of the assigned team members
Supporting the welfare and safety of the team and department by conducting routine site inspections and check-ins with team members
P lanning and implementing an effective learning & development and training culture, ensuring team members have the necessary skills, competence and confidence in performing their tasks and duties efficiently
Assisting with developing operational plans by providing information on team, stock control, operational procedures etc.

Qualifications
Requirements
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations,
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to problem solve, delegate and priorities with strong an eye for detail
• Demonstrates a service with care to guests and colleagues alike
• Proven ability to work under pressure, and
• Full availability to work shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays.
