Alila Ventana Big Sur will be hosting open interviews every Wednesday and Saturday from 2pm to 4pm, join us!

Location: Interviews will be held at The Sur House, located at 48123 CA-1, Big Sur, CA 93920. You are welcome to park in any available spot near the roundabout at the top of the property.
Directions: Once parked, proceed to the restaurant and let the host know you are here for an interview. They will notify a manager to meet with you.

We are looking for colleagues who can quickly perpetuate a culture that embraces great design and superlative service. Our hotel seeks unique individuals who have a passion for exceptional hotel service that is both intuitive and personal, and who best express that belief in an atmosphere of spontaneity and authenticity. At Alila Hotels, a Hyatt Hotels brand, we believe our guests select our luxury resort because of our caring and attentive colleagues who are focused on providing efficient service and meaningful, surprisingly different experiences.

The Food Runner is responsible primarily for assisting the Food Server in serving the guest. This person must have good communication skills as well as the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight. This is a fast paced position with continual customer contact. The position will also be trained as a Server Assistant and Host to fill in as needed.

The hourly rate for this opportunity is $16.00. With Gratuity and a generous service charge within our all inclusive resort, this position has the potential to make $30 to $35 per hour. This is the pay rate for this position at Ventana Big Sur, and Alila Resort reasonably expects to pay.Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factor including experience, and training levels.

Shift Times: AM and PM shift are available from 6:30 am to 2:30pm and 3:30pm to 11:30pm
