Line Cooks are responsible for preparing food in the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets. Under the direction of the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef and help keep the kitchen running smoothly. Some of their key duties and responsibilities include
• Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
• Plating prepared foods
• Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Spaceman is a rooftop bar with some of the best views in Atlanta. It is named after the very eccentric major league baseball player, Bill "Spaceman" Lee, who played for the Montreal Expos and Boston Red Sox.
