Description
The Operational Services UAT Analyst supports the direction of the Activations Manager and will have global responsibilities focusing on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to meet hotel operational needs for various colleague facing Hyatt business solutions including (but not limited to)Colleague Advantage, Opera PMS, and more. This role includes running and maintaining the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) program of software releases to ensure the above systems are properly certified prior to being released into production limiting the impact to our colleagues and the guest experience.
Additionally, the UAT Analyst can be called upon to help enable, connect, test, and activate colleague facing business solutions for all hotels globally. They accomplish this by project managing activities related to the testing and activation processes.
Responsibilities
Utilizing global hotel operations experience, analyze testing request for all sized projects and develop a UAT certification plan and recommendation for scope of testing
Collaborate with IT departments/vendors for testing requirements and non-production environment setup
Create test scripts and identify testing resources, communicate test plan to all involved and consulted parties
Manage and participate in testing efforts
Document, escalate and prioritize findings/issues pertaining to the application certification process and hold vendors and Hyatt development teams accountable for fixes
Report testing statistics to Hyatt management teams
Create certification Sign-Off packet, deliver to appropriate parties and obtain signature for approval to deploy
Identify beta properties, lead efforts and support hotel through beta process
Prepare operational and technical release documentation and communication for new software versions for hotel colleagues, hotel opening teams and support teams
Acquire technical understanding of system and platform being tested
Maintain all certification documentation and test scripts for PCI audit purposes
Drive standardized work, repeatable processes, and seamless execution of each test.
Use empirical data and Continuous Improvement methodologies to advocate for technology adoption, simplification of business practices, and elimination of wasteful processes.

Qualifications
Experience
Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in at least two operational areas at a Hyatt Hotel: Guest Reception, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Reservations, Revenue.
Must have Colleague Advantage and Opera experience.
Must have experience in developing and executing a well-defined approach to problem solving.
Familiar with hotel application usage and business impact. Experience with Opera PMS, Reserve CRS, PRIO, POS and/or Guest Service Systems.
Must be a fierce of advocate for standardization, business practices, and process improvement.
Ability to effectively communicate with Hyatt colleagues at varying levels and experience.
Ability to thrive in an ever changing, demanding, fast-moving and customer focused environment.
Excellent verbal, written, and techincal skills.
Must be an independent worker, focused on accomplishing tasks with little to moderate oversight.
Education
Associates Degree or commensurate experience
