The function of the Retail Supervisor is to assist with the development and expansion of the Retail department in creative and imaginative ways, which will capture greater guest interest, motivate staff and generate increased revenues and profit levels. Retail Supervisors lead the Retail Specialists whom ensure that the retail outlet and inventory are neatly organized and attractively displayed. Retail Specialists and Retail Supervisors are responsible for making product recommendations and processing forms of payment to include room charges and credit cards. The Retail Supervisor will assist guests and our team of Retail Specialists by providing in depth product recommendations, answering questions, informing guests about our unique product options and expanding sales by offering exceptional customer service, information and support.

Qualifications

Previous retail experience preferred
Previous supervisory experience in spa/resort retail sales preferred
Must be able to make decisions regarding ordering of product and follow budgetary guidelines
Assist with interviewing, counseling, scheduling of retail colleagues
Possess excellent organizational skills, communication skills and customer relations skills
Experienced in managing people with compassion, patience, and maturity
Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and Dataworks Point of Sale (POS) preferred
Must be able to stand and walk 95% of their shift
Must be able to push, pull, bend and carry moderate amounts of weight, up to 50 pounds as needed
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills
Experience and a thorough understanding of retail service
