Description
At Spruce Peak we have something special. As the premier Vermont mountain community, we are surrounded by the natural beauty of the Green Mountains. The Lodge and Club are slopeside at Stowe Resort; gorgeous for year-round adventures, escapes, destination weddings, and more. We take pride in our teamwork, high standards, and diversity. It's fitting that we are located at the pinnacle of Vermont!
By joining our team as the Storeroom Lead, you will manage the storeroom that supplies the resort with dry goods, paper goods, and beverages. This position gives you the unique opportunity to interact with many departments, from helping them source the best product at the best price, to ensuring that they receive it on time to make our guests happy. You will work independently as you are responsible for keeping the storeroom clean and in tip-top shape at all times. The job includes a mix of physical labor (moving up to 75lb of merchandise from the dock to your storeroom), and desk tasks (receiving orders in the systems and being in touch with vendors). This is a great position if you like to work an early shift (7 am -3 pm), like things to be organized, but need the interaction with people to fill your day. You will make a difference in each step you take.
You can drive a vehicle, are or can be certified in the use of handling equipment (electric pallet jack), and are not afraid of the weather conditions (mix of indoor and outdoor tasks). Your schedule is based on resort needs, and deliveries.
In addition to competitive pay and health benefits, Spruce Peak employees enjoy a host of great benefits, including ski passes, fitness memberships, and free or discounted stays at Hyatt hotels worldwide. Settle into a long-term groove with us or explore endless career opportunities with Hyatt.
