*Preferably Arabic Nationals
*With a minimum of 1 year experience as Bellman in a 5 or 4 star hotel.
*Effective communication skills and a good command of written and spoken English
*With a valid driving license.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
*Receives guests in a professional and friendly manner, satisfying guest expectations from arrival through to departure.
*Maintains effective communication with all related departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
*Greets guests upon arrival offering assistance at all times.
*Maintains an up to date knowledge of the hotel and local services supplying information and responding to guest queries.
*Maintains awareness of guest profile through Fidelio guest profile system.
*Ensures that the guest luggage is carried from arrival point to room and from room to departure point on check out.
*Deals promptly, efficiently and pleasantly with incoming calls.
*Handles all messages, mail and packages for guests and staff ensuring they are delivered at the appropriate time in a professional manner.
*Delivers morning newspapers to rooms.
*Delivers guest messages and other deliveries immediately without delay in a professional manner.
*Maintains the daily function board and Fidelio notice board.
*Suggestively sells Hotel promotion, outlets and facilities at all times.
*Regularly checks the lobby area, ensuring it is clean and tidy.
*Ensures Concierge desk and store room is clean tidy and well organized.
*Receives from the Night Manager Registration cards to be filed and placed in order according to the established procedure
*Establishes, promotes and maintains good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations.
*Maintains regular and effective liaison between other departments with particular emphasis on Front Office.
*Cooperates in the performance of any reasonable task requested by company manager, executives or guests.
*Maintains an awareness of the car park and front entrance at all times.
