*With 2 years’ experience in similar role in a 4 or 5 star hotel or high end restaurant/bar.
*Proficient in English language (verbal and written) with a second or third language will be an asset.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
*Attends regular training sessions team in line with the departmental SOP’s i.e. guest care, product knowledge, grooming standards, telephone manners, entering guest rooms, etc.,
*Works as per instructions of the Supervisor and as per duty schedules i.e. gets required goods from other departments, moving equipment
*Communicates with guests as per instruction i.e. places orders in the kitchen, picks up the food, clears and resets tables.
*Ensures proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming at all times.
*Answers the Room Service telephones, if and when required.
*Is knowledgeable of the Room Service menu and can answer guests’ queries.
*Maintains a professional and friendly, yet discrete relationship with the in house guest to ensure their well-being.
*Works within the team to prepare all Mise en place according to 24 hours service requirements.
*Keeps all occupancy information containing documents under close cover during his work on the floors.
*Attends all regular departmental briefings and contributes to open communication within the assigned team.
*Conducts the proper handover from one shift to the other.
*Familiar with the company’s internal policies and safety procedures.
*Reports cleanliness and maintenance issues to the immediate Supervisor.
*Handles guest complaints through his immediate Supervisor.
*Carries out other related assignments or tasks entrusted by the Room Service Manager from time to time.
*Helps in other areas of the Hotel if the situation requires.
