To drive key finance transformation projects and interface with business units to understand their financial needs and drive improvements. To provide support in the financial consolidation process.
To continue to restructure finance to drive benefits from key projects being driven in the org like outsourcing and or ERP. To set performance measures for Section Heads within Finance and assist them to meet their target levels through various Performance Management and assessment programs.
Analyze, design and roll-out key finance processes and systems as well as support and enhance the existing architecture.
Closely work with VP Finance on periodic review/implementation of new Finance strategies and operations and develop plans to enhance systems and process efficiency.
Working with several team within the organization on big data to bring value add reporting and improvements at various levels.
Be responsible for ownership and support of team deliverable s, project management,
Drive key finance improvement projects.
Support in the financial consolidation process.
Reviews program costs, schedules and performance objectives for all Finance Transformation initiatives and provide periodic update to VP Finance.
Early identification of risks (if any) and its mitigation to ensure successful and timely
delivery of transformation solutions.
To oversee the operations of the external service provider and find ways to enhance the delivery methodology with Zero SLA misses, continuous contract compliance and methods to stabilize processes with minimal business interruptions.
To supervise and assist direct reports in their respective functional areas.
Provide thought leadership to the Finance department to ensure the department stays continuously above the curve
Develop departmental objectives that would strategically align Finance function to overall organization vision.
Ensure that all department heads and finance staff are working towards achievement of Finance strategic goals and objectives.
