To lead the Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC Section to maintain the Dubai World Trade Centre Complex buildings, plants & equipment and their components to a high standard and in a safe and efficient manner; assist and support all profit centers and other operational departments; assist and support all profit centers and other operational departments. Prepare sectional budget and PDR’s
•Maintain and ensure proper working conditions and safe efficient operation of all buildings, plants, facilities, property and installations at the company and to manage the company’s assets.
•Organize and administer the Electrical, Mechanical & HVAC Sections to ensure that effective work control and productivity are maintained.
•Periodically review manning levels to control excessive use of overtime
•Prepare annual maintenance budget; establish and implement operating policies including Work Orders, and maintenance requests, preventive maintenance schedules, procedures and standards for repairs and maintenance and assess long term requirements, including overhauls and rehabilitation programs, renewal and replacement works
•Keep informed on industry innovations and progress in the technical fields, including product research, maintenance and engineering matters
•Arrange and negotiate, in association with the purchasing manager, quotations for annual service contracts; coordinate and supervise the work of the service contractors; draw up relevant specifications for engineering projects and assess the quotations obtained
•Engineering stores supervisor in implementing an efficient stores/inventory control ensuring that correct stock levels are maintained
•Hold regular meetings for energy conservation, employee communications, fire training and safety and to liaise and maintain contract with local authorities on operational matters
•Follow & implement the DWTC Policies & Procedures Continually seek opportunities to develop self and if applicable subordinates
•Implement duties in line with the Quality standards, Security and Health & Safety requirements
•Implement any other duties as assigned by the Department Head
