Skills, Qualifications & Experience
*Any nationalities
*With 2 years’ experience in a 4 or 5 star hotel
*Proficient in English language (verbal and written) with a second or third language will be an asset.
*Professional attitude is required
*Ability to work independently and under pressure.
*Excellent grooming standard.
*Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever changing environment.
*Must be a strong team player with departmental cooperation
*Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
*A warm personality, attentive and smartly presentable
*Ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs
*Committed to delivering high levels of customer service

As a Captain you are responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring their stay will become a memorable experience and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

*To report for work on time in correct and clean uniform
*To ensure the Restaurant is set-up for service.
*To supervise and assist the smooth operation and running of the service.
*To direct and supervise the service staff during service and to ensure that all duties are performed to the required standards.
*To perform any other tasks assigned by superiors.
*To ensure that all staff have received adequate training to perform their duties
*To perform all tasks consistently in line with the Hotel’s standards.
*To treat guest and colleagues in a polite and courteous manner.
*To adhere to all legal and statutory requirements.
*To positively contribute to sales activities and assist in maximizing revenue.
*To extend prompt service to all guests.
*To attend briefings and meetings and to cascade the relevant information to subordinates.
*To maintain a good relationship with inter-related departments (Engineering, Stewarding, Housekeeping, etc.).
*To ensure proper organization, planning and control of china, silver, linen, glassware, menus and other supplies.
*To maintain concise record of all liquor stock and to ensure that the required par stock is available
*To assist in the control of all liquor stock.
*To adhere to 10 golden rules at all times.
*To be flexible in assisting around different areas of the hotel.
*To perform any other tasks assigned by superiors.
