•Inspect all guestroom, corridors and service areas to make sure they
are properly cleaned according to the prescribed standard of our hotel
property and to constantly check on the cleanliness, orderliness,
general condition, as well as possible damage/s in his / her assigned
•Report any damage/s in the assigned floor/s and fill out maintenance request form/s if and when required.
•Inspect rooms tagged in our system as “vacant” to ensure that they are
in fact physically vacant and make necessary report/s for any
discrepancy/ies if and when necessary.
•Regularly inspects the room attendants’ carts to make sure that they
are stocked adequately, neatly and that the carts themselves are well
maintained and kept in good working condition.
•Check pantry area/s to make sure that they are neat, orderly and well supplied.
•Ensure that room attendants are following the prescribed cleaning procedures of the Hotel.
•Inspect and report on all soiled drapes, carpets, furniture and other
special Housekeeping cleaning requirements to the Executive Housekeeper.
•Work closely with room attendants in the preparation of guestrooms for VIP arrivals.
•Help maintain the logbook for missing items found in either the
guestrooms or public areas; if and when required, to report the same to
our Executive Housekeeper.
•Ensure that all maintenance work is carried out properly in the
guestrooms / guestroom areas and correspond with whomsoever is/are
concerned as per the established standard procedure/s of our hotel
•If and when necessary, assign special tasks / duties to room attendants
and make certain that they are carried out and accomplished within the
given deadline for the same.
•Regularly check for any missing items in the guestrooms and guest room
floor/s to make sure these are immediately replenished, if and when
•Maintain records on the status of guestrooms as per the room
attendants’ report/s, as well as a proper daily log on Housekeeping
activities throughout the day.
•Facilitate on-the-job training activities for the constant and
sustained development of room attendants that you as their Floor
Supervisor are responsible for.
•Ensures the proper control, proper and safe use of keys by room attendants.
•Ensures that guest supplies and guest amenities wastage is constantly and consistently avoided.
•Assists in the inventory of Linen, Small Operating Equipment (SOE) and Furniture Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E).
•Ensures the proper handling of all Housekeeping equipment and makes
sure that preventive maintenance of these said equipment are carried out
