Provides day-to-day support for all internal hotel IT systems and users, minimizing any system outages.
Handles the IT operations in the Hotel whenever the IT Manager is not around
Gives technical support to guests on software/hardware complaints.
Supports the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software on PC workstations and laptops.
Supports users to ensure they have access to the appropriate computer systems, and that workstations are working properly.
Ensure that all system back-ups are taken regularly.
Maintains a log book for problems and repairs, ensuring action is taken at the earliest to minimize any operational disruption, advising the IT Manager of the same.
Maintains the security and confidentiality of all software and information stored in the hotel systems.
Maintains a regular preventive maintenance schedule.
Recommend system improvements to the IT Manager.
Monitor the operation and security of all computer hardware and software to ensure a smooth operation
Maintain an accurate inventory for hardware and software to maintain an organized environment
Coordinate with the suppliers to solve complains and reports
Follow company policies related to security and operation of computer system to ensure business safety and integrity
Ensure that all end users are well trained in the different systems so all the applications are utilized efficiently
