o All food product served in the Restaurant
o All menu items, preparation method/time, ingredients, sauces, portion sizes, garnishes, presentation and prices.
o Daily menu specials. 86’d items.
o Dining room layout, table/seat/station numbers, proper table set-ups, room capacity, hours of operation, price range and dress code.
To inspect table set-ups; check for cleanliness, neatness and agreement to departmental standards; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.
To check the pick-up station and side stations, ensuring agreement to standards of cleanliness, supply of stock and organization.
To inspect, plan and ensure that all material and equipment are in complete readiness for service; rectify deficiencies with respective personnel.
To assist bar staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests.
To anticipate guest’s needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whenever time of day. Promote positive guest relations at all time.
To monitor and ensure that all tables are cleared and reset according to department procedures.
To monitor and maintain cleanliness and working conditions of restaurant equipment, supplies and work areas.
To be responsible for all mis-en-place (Juices, Garnish, Tea, Coffee, Linen, Silverware, Chinaware, Glassware)
To perform all necessary tasks to serve Food & Beverages according to the service standards and operating manuals of the Hotel.
To greet guests upon arrival and seats them, ensures their comfort at the table.
To maintain table culture and restaurant ambiance at all times.
To maintain maximum hygiene personally, inside the restaurant and in all back of house areas by performing appropriate cleaning tasks.
To suggest changes in menu items or service procedures, as per guest feedback or perceived need.
To attend and serve the guests promptly.
To ensure minimum breakage, spoilage and wastage.
To be responsible for creating and collecting accurate bills and amounts for all service done.
To attend F&B product knowledge related classes regularly and shares with other staff.
To polish all wares in the restaurant, in an appropriate way.
To attend briefing prior to the restaurant opening or shifts.
To check stock on daily basis and inform superior for requisition (Tea, Coffee, Sugar, Tabasco, Ketchup, Mustard, and Mayonnaise).
To take Food and Beverages order and repeat the order in a clear voice.
To enhance food and Beverages Sales using Selling Techniques.
To develop restaurant image through high standards of service.
To answer queries on house facilities and business hours.
To take Ownership and Initiative.
To provide assistance to guests on all matters during their stay.
To know your guest (special guest request, guest name, preference etc.)
To perform any related duties and special projects as assigned by the Management.
