Required for a renowned hotel in Dubai:-
Responsible for the full day to day operation and management of the Sales & Marketing Department.Responsible for the recruitment, management, performance objectives and training of the sales and marketing team.Responsible for determining the appropriate strategies, generation of all revenues consistent with the company objectives, business planning, market segmentation analysis for Group, Corporate, Wholesale, and Transient goals and targets for the Sales & Marketing Department.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for the sales and marketing business plan, manpower plans and performance targets and goals.
Responsible for determining the appropriate sales and marketing strategies in all market segments towards maximizing the hotel revenues making sure that the strategy is in line with overall hotel strategy and objectives.
Evaluate market trends and competitor activity and provide analysis and recommendations to management
Responsible for a maximum of occupancy of conferences and banquettes in order to optimize general business opportunities.
Work closely with other members of the hotel management team to identify marketing priorities.
Responsible for creating lucrative sales targets.
Responsible for observing the market, identifying trends and monitor the main competitors. Based on finding create sales targets.
Review travel industry research to identify trends that could affect the hotel, and report the same to the Leadership team.
Responsible for managing key accounts and overseeing all other accounts.
Responsible for business development and meetings with travel agents, tour operators, Corporates, Groups etc with regards to staying at the hotel.
Responsible for establishing agreements with travel agents, tour operators, Corporate, Groups etc which allows for successful repeat business, which generates sales for the entire hotel.
Responsible for selling the hotel's servicesto prospective and current guests; such as dining options, swimming pool, and health club, as well as room upgrades.
Responsible for working in collaboration with Hotel Management and the F&B Management regarding advertising, publications or events for the hotel.
Maximise the hotel’s revenues by developing programs to increase occupancy and make profitable use of the hotel’s accommodation, food & beverage outlets, meeting and leisure facilities.
Responsible for the hotel’s website making sure that it includes up-to-date guest information on hotel facilities and rates, travel and location with detailed information on meeting facilities for event organisers.
Responsible for posting hotel details on destination websites and online booking sites to increase reach to the target audience. Collaborate with other meeting venues to offer their delegates accommodations or meeting space to provide access to other potential customers.
Responsible for building a stable revenue base and ensuring a high level of repeat business, as well as developing strong customer relationships.
Understand competitors’ strengths and weaknesses to be able to take action to protect business with existing customers or win business from weaker competitors.
Must strike a balance between customer satisfaction & effective business management , ensuring financial viability and ensure smooth running customer services
Experience, Skill and Qualification:
At least 8 years experience in Sales and Marketing, at least 5 years recent experience of leadership in sales & marketing.
University/College degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or other related discipline .
Excellent understanding of Sales and Marketing operations within the Hotel industry.
Experience in the UAE.
Excellent level of English and able to handle multi languages.
Experience in successful branding, specifically the ability to drive brand message through multiple channels
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required.
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications and/or relevant computer applications required.
