1.6 sort the food and beverage linen and rooms linen
1.7 operate, wax and clean the ironer.
1.8 feed sheets, table linen napkins, pillow cases and huck towels in the ironer
1.9 to sort and fold towels, hang robes, fold rugs
1.10 to shake sheets, table linens and pillow cases
1.11 to keep stain/reclaim separate from other loads
1.12 to keep work area clean.
1.13 to be familiar with linen sizes and classifications
1.14 to maintain a daily production record and report linen abuse
1.15 Shakes wet sheets, table linens and napkins prior to ironing in order to spread them out. Feeds washed linens into ironer. Retrieves folded linens and stacks or hangs clean linens as appropriate.
1.16 Sorts clean towels, rugs and robes. Uses towel folder and manual folding for bath towels, washcloths, rugs and robes. Places folded product on appropriate rack.
1.17 Loads washing machines with the appropriate items for a load. Weighs all loads and uses the appropriate amount and type of cleaning chemicals for each load.
1.18 Moves washed linens to dryers. Assures that load size and drying time is correct given linen being dried. Removes linen from driers and delivers it to appropriate area for folding
1.19 Operates and maintains washing and drying equipment. Reports any problems or deficiencies to manager. Keeps laundry valet area organized and stocked with needed chemicals
