Duties
The Night Manager is responsible for the smooth, efficient and safe running of the hotel's operations during the night shift by ensuring all relevant departments work cohesively.  He/She represents Senior Management during the night and is the main contact for all guests, staff and local authorities.   Main duties include supervision of the night shift team, meeting and greeting of late arrivals and early departures, ensuring overall guest satisfaction as well as handling of guest/staff grievances and any emergencies that may occur during the night shift.   Additionally, the Night Manager will also monitor the productivity of night shift staff through inspections (routine as well as surprise), providing guidance when required and providing feedback to the management for areas of improvement or concerns.  He/She will also be well versed in all hotel systems, ensuring the various systems’ night audits and “close day” are done as per set guidelines and standards.
   
Requirements

• At least a Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience in Front Office in a similar capacity
• Strong organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills
• Experienced in emergency response procedures (Fire & Life Safety)
