DUTIES:

•Actively participate, co-ordinate and supervise all activities related to food production for Cafe Mix & related outlets
•Actively seek to set up and maintain a harmonious working relationship with all Employees, Supervisors, Department Heads and other departments, being aware of their need and offering assistance when required.
•Participate in all training needs for all levels of staff, and set up and maintain training schedules and training sessions when required.
•Be fully conversant with all aspects of Kitchen Financial Management, including labour costs, food costs and food revenues, in order to assist the Sous Chef in maintaining budgeted guidelines. Experiences and skills required:
 

•Excellent communication skills in reading and writing English
•Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
•Experience in Hotel environment
•Computer literacy MS Word, Outlook and Excel
•Staff supervision
•  Excellent organisational skills

•Understanding of workplace practices in Work Health and Safety
•Ordering and stock control
•Menu planning
