• Devel o p and set reve n ue sales a nd m a rketing strate g ies for the ho t el to ens u re p lans a re imp l emented, results a r e m onitor e d and sal e s g o als a r e achieved. R eg ularly sell hotel roo m s, meeting roo m s, and food and bev e ra g e through d i r e ct client cont ac ts.
• Achieve b u d g eted reve n u e s and p erso n al/team sal e s goals a nd m aximise p rofitability. Participate in the pre p aration of the an n ual de p artm e ntal operating budget, the h otel marketi n g plan a n d b u sin e ss plan, and fin a ncial p l a n s
• Cr e ate and i mplem e nt sa l es pl a ns that drive me a s ur able i n cr e m e ntal occu p a n c y, increase avera g e rates, i n cre a se volume, food and bev e r a ge and b an qu et sal e s.
• Prod u ce m ont hly repor t s a nd sa l es for e c a sts to anal y s e current/po t ential market and sal e s tr e nds, co o r di n ate activities to increase reve n ue and market share a nd m o nitor p e rfor m ance to ensure actual sal e s meet o r exceed e s t a blis h ed rev en ue plan.
• Mana g e day- t o-day sal e s a c tivities, plan and a ss i gn work, a n d est a blish p erf o r m ance and d evelopm e nt goa l s for te a m memb e rs. Provide men t oring, co a c h i ng and regu la r feedb a ck to help ma n age confl i ct, improve team member p er f orm a nce, and rec o gn i se g o od perf o rm an c e.
• Educate a nd train sa l es t e am that is r e spo n sib l e for d eveloping ne w acc o unts, maintaini n g ex isting acco u nts, a n d implem e nting sa l es stra t egi e s . Ens u re staff is pro pe rly trained an d has the too l s and equip m ent to carry out job duties.
• Provide gues t s with infor m ation (exa m p l e: loyalty program m es, area attractions, restauran t s, facility informati o n) to enh a nce g u est exper i e nc e.
• Devel o p and maintain rela t ionshi p s with key cli e n t s a n d outsi d e c ont acts in o r d e r to prod u ce gro u p and/ o r conv e ntion b usi n ess, to inclu d e ro o m sales, food & b evera g e sa le s, and cateri n g/ ban q uet s e rvic e s .
• Sche d ule co nv entions a nd / or b u sin e ss g roup a c tivities at the hotel and c o ord i nate with other h o tel-level dep a rtmen t s to facilitate s e rvic e s a g re e d upon by the sal e s office a nd pr o s p ecti v e clien t s.
• W o rk with ot h er de p artm en t manag e rs to ens u re p ro p er staffing le v els b a s e d on gu e st volum e
• Identify oper a tional pr o bl e ms that re d uce the effec t iven e ss of m a rketing a c tivities a n d overa l l hotel sal e s p e rfor m ance and work with a p pr op riate de p art m ent on so l uti o ns.
• Devel o p aw ar en e ss a nd r e putation of the hotel and t h e bra n d in the local comm u nity.
• Perform ot h er duties a s assigned. In addition, you should have the following qualifications and skills that we are looking for:-


• Bachelor's degree in Business or Hotel Management, with at least 5 years' related experience in a similar capacity
• Must have prior experience in leading a team
• A passion for the service and hospitality industry
• Adaptable, determined and someone who thrives in a fast paced environment
• Proactive, highly motivated and has excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• A people-oriented individual with strong leadership skills
• Presentable and well groomed
• Demonstrates ability to interact with the customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company
