Under general direction of the Front Office Manager or his/her delegate and Guest Relations Manager within the limits of established InterContinental Hotels Group brand and local policies and procedures, responsible for all activities relevant to the Front Desk such as the reception, check in/out, rooming of all hotel guests, foreign exchange, cashiering, concierge services and assisting them with inquiries. To ensure that the highest standards of hospitality and welcome are demonstrated at all times. Supervise all relevant procedures while on duty.
Other duties and responsibilities include:
To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and to pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises in order to maximize hotel sales Gain understanding of the departmental goals and financial targets and support your Line Manager to achieve these targets Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self-development To assist the Front Office Manager in the development of the reception team and actively coach on hospitality skills, department procedures etc. Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene, Security and Fire Life Safety Familiarize yourself with the company values and model desired behaviors In return for your hard work, you can look forward to a highly competitive salary and benefits package - including all obligatory and mandatory benefits.
