Job Summary

- Contribute to set, agree and deliver the H&M retail business plan with focus on sales, cost control, people, and maximising profit
Managing manpower performance and development
- Set, develop and provide operational direction, policies and goals with focus on growth, expansion and people.
- Set, and provide guidance towards the achievement of the highest operational standards and customer service, taking into account the cultural and legal differences in each country whilst maintaining the overall H&M brand integrity.
- Continuously review operational procedures and business practices to achieve the highest standards in operational efficiency.
- Ensure identification of training requirements within core and speciality businesses and ensure that succession plans are delivered within these business areas.
- Contribute significantly to development of corporate marketing strategy, brand and country-wise.
- Responsible for operational execution of all campaigns and activities.
- Identify market opportunities that will enhance and ensure a leading position within the individual markets.
Minimum Work Experience / Knowledge Requirements:

- 10 - 15 years' experience gained in Fashion retail or department stores including a minimum of 7 years as a senior manager
- Strong sales, operations, visual merchandising and marketing experience.
- Demonstrable experience of consistent employment in a respected retail/multi franchise group
- Successful track record of multi-site retail management experience (international exposure an asset)
- Combination of "hands-on" operational knowledge with strong people development skills
- Full P&L accountability and delivery evidenced in high growth retail expansion environment

- An influential, inspirational proactive and trusted leader
- A confident communicator - very strong command of English a must (verbal and written)
