As one of the World's Most Ethical Companies, as designated by Ethisphere, Wyndham Worldwide is looking for a Paralegal, Global Privacy and Information Management to foster Wyndham Worldwide's strong ethical culture and core values! This role will support Wyndham Worldwide's Global Privacy and Information Management group within the Corporate Legal Department and will help operate as well as continue to enhance the following aspects of the program: Global Data Privacy Directive ("GDPR") compliance initiatives, privacy risk assessments, incident response, promoting activities to raise privacy awareness within the Company, helping to develop and amend corporate-wide privacy and information management processes, supporting in house and external counsel in e-discovery efforts and supporting the Company's information management initiatives. The role requires significant collaboration with fellow team members, associates within Corporate Services and Wyndham's three business units. It will report to the Group Vice President - Global Privacy and Information Management. We are looking for a highly ethical individual with strong legal acumen. The candidate must be a hands-on, self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment. The candidate must also possess superior interpersonal, organizational and communication skills as well as have great attention to detail.

Responsibilities:


- Support the Company's GDPR compliance initiatives. Work on a team to project manage and implement appropriate changes to the Company's privacy program in light of the GDPR.
- Conduct first-line review of vendors and changes to/new business initiatives as a part of the Privacy Risk Assessment process.
- Supports in-house and outside counsel in e-discovery efforts related to litigation and investigations and supports the information management function.
- Promotes activities to raise privacy awareness within the Company.

- Assist with any information security and privacy incidents (e.g., intake, preparing memoranda, communications).

- Supports the Company's information management initiatives, including the import processes for local .pst files from creation of eDiscovery mailboxes, uploading content to same and moving mailboxes to the cloud.

Qualifications


- Bachelor's Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate
- 3-5 years paralegal experience in government, law firms or multinational corporations preferred, with at least the last 1-2 years focused on or exposure to privacy and/or information management.
- IAPP Privacy Certification(s) is a plus.
- Basic technical knowledge of IT environments and IS systems including knowledge of DLP, PCI, ISO 27002, NIST Cybersecurity framework.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and balance multiple projects.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with a diverse client base.
- Ability to adapt to change in priority and work on multiple projects at a time.
- Superior ethics and moral character.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Good analytical skills and ability to issue spot.
