We are currently seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our corporate payroll team. The potential candidate main responsibilities will be processing payroll and issuing manual checks. The Payroll Analyst will also handle tax related responsibilities.

Responsibilities


- Payroll processing for multiple pay groups using ADP Enterprise V5
- Data input, as necessary, for manual checks, voids, stop pays, direct deposit reversals, and payroll adjustments
- Process prior quarter and year adjustments, enter corrections in adjust mate and produce W2Cs
- Conduct payroll audits utilizing Multi J report to ensure wage and tax are recorded correctly for employees with multiple profiles. Process corrections when needed
- Research and validate employee state and local tax setup is accurate and proper forms are received
- Integral part of the amendment process which includes initiating a request for processing, updating and maintaining amendment log and resolving rejected amendments
- Conduct SUI/SIT/Local coding audits on a monthly basis. Research and process adjustments as necessary
- Conduct quarterly and annual tax audits and reconciliations, tax notices research and resolution and maintenance of jurisdictional log
- Responsible for opening and closing accounts with ADP, jurisdiction and HRMS when needed
- Support and assist business units with any tax related issues
- Integral part of quarter and year end activities
- Perform all assigned job duties in accordance with Company policies, procedures and standard practices
- Provide assistance to business units on payroll related inquiries
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications


- Detail oriented and result driven individual with excellent follow up skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Working knowledge of wage and hour law
- Good oral and written communication skills and above average administrative skills
- Good time management skills in order to meet continuous critical deadlines
- Ability to interface with all departments both within the company as well as external sources
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Access

Required Education/Experience/Training :


- 5 to 7 years of experience in processing payroll
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in handling payroll tax related responsibilities
- Minimum of 3 years processing payroll utilizing ADP's Enterprise (EV4/EV5) application
- CPP preferred
- Working knowledge of wage rules at the state and federal levels
- Proficient in EV5 and ADP R reporting tool
