The primary purpose of the Community Marketing Agent is to solicit prospective guests in high traffic tourist locations, booths, or other designated locations in New York City, NY while providing customer service; qualify them to assure that they meet the guidelines for the sales presentation; if qualified, invite them to attend a vacation ownership presentation; and register them properly. Personally solicit guest for a preview of Wyndham Midtown 45 Resort making the presentation interesting and appealing in order to book as many qualified customers as possible. Follow qualification guidelines as established by the company such as annual income, spousal attendance, possession of credit cards, etc. Represent the Wyndham brand in a professional manner and model and strengthen our corporate culture while ensuring site performance objectives are maximized. QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to greet potential guests in various CMP locations/ tourist destinations. Technology understanding. Detail oriented - must be able to provide a high level of accuracy. Work with a high level of professionalism. Ability to communicate in a positive, enthusiastic manner. Demonstrated ability to problem solve (troubleshoot, analyze and resolve situations). Provide exceptional customer service. Develop broad knowledge of company procedures, products and services. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work as a team player. Greet, register, and establish necessary credit and issue keys appropriately to guests. Answer telephones with proper telephone etiquette and direct calls accordingly. Receive guest requests and/or complaints and ensure that appropriate actions have been taken. Answer inquiries pertaining to the resort's amenities, services, policies, area attractions, dining, and directions. Communicate with other departments as needed via telephone. Collects payment and makes change for guests as required. Make, confirm and cancel reservations for guests or answer a variety of questions for guests pertaining to their New York City Activities. Balance all cash receipts and work performed during shift and performs during each shift. Highly motivated fast passed sales/ marketing environment. Looking for high-energy money motivated personalities.
REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to handle a variety of task independently within expressed or implied time constraints. Ability to show discretion and good judgment in dealing with internal and external problems. Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND OR EXPERIENCE:


- Sales experience
- Telemarketing experience preferred
- Must be competitive and driven to succeed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Minimum of High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and some nights
- High amount of professionalism and customer service in dealing with guests and staff members
- Must be able to communicate in a positive, enthusiastic manner
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
