Sell retail merchandise, offering excellent customer service and professional advice while operating a computer/cash register accurately in a well maintained environment.

- Prepare merchandise for selling floor.
- Responsible for timely store opening and closing and related procedures.
- Responsible for daily inventory control.
- Maintain merchandise stock and displays, creating an organized and visually exciting shop.
- Maintain clean working environment including running vacuum, washing shop windows, etc. as needed.
- Evaluate daily sales and reports best and worst sellers to appropriate personnel.
- Participate in taking physical inventories.
- Operate a computer/cash register and accurately handles monetary transactions.
- Offer excellent customer service and professional advice in selecting merchandise.
- Take steps daily to control shrinkage, i.e., loss of merchandise to theft.
- Provide guests with accurate information about the property and other area attractions.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

- An understanding of customer service in a retail environment.
- Working knowledge and understanding of basic sales procedures.
- Prior computer experience preferred.
SKILL at: communicating effectively, verbally and in writing; organizational skills and detail oriented with the ability to perform various tasks at one time; flexibility and adaptability required; detail oriented; ability to work closely other departments; handling difficult and stressful conditions.
