FINANCIAL RETURNS:

• Understand daily budgets for APC /Covers and sales for venues and have knowledge of hotels in competitive set.
• Assist managers to minimize loss and misuse in order to achieve and exceed the operation budgeted profitability.
• Assist manager to implement cost saving and profit enhancing measures.
• Supervise and control menu stocks ensuring par levels are maintained.
• Anticipate and maintain all collateral material and supplies ensuring their availability.
• Assist in Control usage of consumables items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment ensuring the equipment is used in a correct and safe manner.
• To fully understand and adhere to the Departmental Operations.

• Implement cost effectiveness of all aspects of operation.Develop and implement cost saving and profit enhancing measures.
• Manage and control stock ensuring par levels are maintained.Anticipate and maintain all material and supplies ensuring their availability.
• Follow equipment care &soiled equipment clearance plan and strive for zero breakages.
• Understand promotional activities / events plan scheduled as per events calendar.
• Understand venue OS&E and control pilferage.
PEOPLE:

• Ensure compliance with all policies,procedures,standards and aiming at exceeding guest expectations.
• Follow pre and post shift duties allocated by assistant manager.
• To maintain a good rapport and working relationships with associates in the venue and all other departments.
• To attend and contribute to all associate meetings and other related activities.
• To attend all training sessions organized by the Venue Manager or Training Department.

• To have a complete understanding of the Hotel's associate handbook and adhere to the regulation contained within.
• To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times, no body odor.
• Thorough and practical knowledge of service terminology and of various international service techniques.
• Knowledge of kitchen terminology, including ingredients and methods of preparation.
• Operational knowledge of restaurant equipment.

GUEST EXPERIENCE:
• Take ownership of delivering guest experience and drive continuous improvement.
• Assist with all events in the restaurants and bars, as well as coverage of their operations.
• Ensuring 100% completion of mandatory E-learning trainings with self and team.
• Practiceour winning ways, values with all associates in team.
• Answer all restaurant incoming calls, inform callers and take reservations. Refer all special guest requests to relevant people and follow proper reservations procedures and processes.
• Keep abreast of hotel products and services in order to answer guest questions and requests.
• Answer all guest questions / request in a friendly and caring manner, take appropriate actions or if needed, refer the matter to the relevant persons to handle.
• During busy periods, assist the F&B attendants by taking the order, clearing and setting up tables, serving dishes, presenting the invoices/checks.

RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:
• Check all stock, requisitions and equipment daily and manage par stock.

• Follow control procedures to minimise errors, fraud and wastage.
• Be well versed and knowledgeable of Crowne Plaza Fire and Evacuation procedures as well as health and safety requirements in the Workplace. Ensure Associates are aware of their duty of care as determined by legislation and that they maintain complete familiarity.
• Ensure all risk management trainings are done in line with IHG standards.
• Deliver a consistent branded guest experience through the full implementation of Crowne Plaza brand standards within the hotel by the opening date.
• To see that all back of house restaurant areas are cleaned and equipment stored before the end of day's trade ,all repair<br><br>• College diploma/ degree in Hotel Management, 1year experience in similar position is preferred.Must be able to speak local language(s) and have a positive attitude.Personality: warm, welcoming, smiling and pleasant.Communicate effectively.Good understanding of MS Word /Excel/PowerPoint and General computer skills.
