Job Location

Al Jahra Copthorne Hotel & Resort is the only international resort in Northern Kuwait with 261 well-appointed bedrooms, 2 F&B Outlets, Health Club, Swimming Pool, 6 Meeting & Events/Function Rooms and 1000sqmtr Ballroom.

Key Job Responsibilities


• Responsible for food preparation and presentation as outlined by the Executive Chef.
• Ensure and supervise daily preparation of food for the staff canteen and appropriate inter-kitchen transfers.
• Check foodstuff delivered to area of responsibility for freshness, quantity etc. and bring any discrepancies to the attention of supervisor or management.
• Avoid or minimize food wastage.
• Ensure that all mise-en-place is kept according to business volume. <br><br>
• Must be certified Chef (Bachelor in Culinary Arts or Diploma in Culinary Arts)
• HACCP Certified
• Minimum 5 years' experience in Pastry
• Must be working currently as DCDP in a chain hotel
