TITLE: General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for continually focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and developing employees, while maintaining the integrity of the hotel.

Job Description:

In accordance with the terms of the Management Agreement with Wyndham Hotel Group, the General Manager is r esponsible for the successful pre-opening, opening and positioning as a first -class/upper upscale 4star + hotel and the direction of the overall operation of the hotel to maximise performance, profitability and return on investment.

The General Manager will work on the pre-opening and opening of the hotel, in close collaboration with the management company to shape the overall strategic plan for the property according to the business plan and overall goals. The objectives of this plan will include achieving highest guest satisfaction through outstanding guest service, revenue optimization and the highest level of quality through training and operational standards within the framework of the Wyndham brand tier. The initial priority will be to navigate the hotel through the pre-opening and opening process ensuring a successful launch and positioning of the property as the hotel of choice within the competitive set, on time and within budget.

The General Manager will recruit, build, lead and develop a high performing team of talented hospitality professionals to deliver the financial and operational objectives set within the operating budget and business plan. The incumbent will have a very strong input to the recruitment of this team and importantly will ensure the realization of the Wyndham Count on Me! Service Culture within the hotel.


In some locations around the world, Wyndham Hotel Group manages hotel properties on behalf of a third party owner. At many of those properties, the Hotel owner is the actual employer, and Wyndham Hotel Group performs recruiting and hiring functions on their behalf. Minimum Requirements:

Education & Experience :

- At least two years experience as a General Manager in the Middle East - ideally KSA

- Fluent in spoken and written Arabic

- Ideally experience of a pre-opening


- Have a transferable KSA visa or the ability to attain one

- Be able to be flexible and work to tight deadlines

- Form great relationships with owners and Wyndham Hotel Group

- Be able to Manage a large multi national team
