POSITION PURPOSE
The F&B Banquets assistant mg r will be responsible for managing banquet events at the hotel. This person supervises event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and banquet equipment. This role is a highly detailed role within the hotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience for guests.
MAIN FUNCTIONS

Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales and labour costs.
To supervise and co-ordinate daily operation of meeting/banquet set-ups and service
Achieve maximum profitability and over-all success by controlling costs and quality of service.
Control of Banquet china, cutlery, glassware, linen and equipment.
Help in preparation of forecast and budget
Completion of weekly schedules. Schedule staff as necessary to ensure adequate and consistent levels of service.
Following of proper purchasing and requisitioning procedures

Qualifications

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Hold a UE Passport
Spanish, English and German communications skills is a must.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Proficient in basic computer skills
Experience in F&B banqueting and events
