· Functions as the Business Manager and a Marketing Specialist for the Outlet, to ensure that the outlet operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and is individually profitable
· Ensures that the Food and Beverage activities in the outlet are aligned with the hotel and Corporate Strategies, and that the Hotel Actions have been implemented where appropriate
· Has the overall responsibility of Sales and Marketing of The Flying Elephant and Food and Beverage Outlets in the Hotel

Achieves the monthly and annual personal target and the outlet's revenue and assists in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for Food and Beverage.
Prepares with the Outlet team, a yearly marketing plan which is the basis of the Food and Beverage Annual Marketing Plan.
Measures, interprets, prioritises and evaluates the effectiveness of marketing communications activities through an ROI analysis and adjust as necessary
Closely works with Marketing Communications Manager and Revenue Manager to maximise use of the targeted market information including customer profile, behaviour, and yield for the planning and evaluation of marketing communications . · Evaluates local, national and international market trends, vendors and other hotel/restaurant operations constantly to make sure that the hotel's operations remain competitive and cutting edge
· To attend major Food And Beverage related functions to network and promote the hotel and check competition

Ensures that all employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times. · Ensures that employees also provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate

Maximises employee productivity through the use of multi-skilling, multi-tasking and flexible scheduling to meet the financial goals of the business as well as the expectations of the guests.
Ensures that minimum brand standards have been implemented.
