The general responsibilities include but not limited to o ffer luggage assistance, help answer questions and genuinely make the guest feel "at home." Assist guests/owners in a courteous, professional manner as to maintain the highest guest service experience possible. RESPONSIBILITIES: Owner/Guest Related: 1. Maintain an excellent understanding of luggage storing procedures and be ready to assist owners and guests with their luggage. 2. Develop a thorough knowledge of the town and surrounding areas, events, activities, restaurants, road directions, transportation options to the property, pick up place and schedule of City bus and WVR shuttles. 3. Familiar with property valet/laundry (dry cleaning) procedures. Deliver dry cleaning to guest rooms once returned. 4. Familiar with property amenities and outlet hours (if applicable.) Front Desk Related:
- Assist Front Office with any needs (answer phone calls, answer general guest questions, drive guests upon request, help deliver donations and recycling).
- Develop a basic working knowledge of the PBX phone system and company radio using proper telephone and radio etiquette.
- Maintain cleanliness of the property (Front Office area, clubhouse, bathrooms, patrol the property for trash and cigarette butts, and collecting trash bags from all areas).
- Upkeep of the properties vehicles including wash, vacuum, clean windows, etc. Report and mechanical problems to maintenance or Front Desk/Office Manager.
- Check and refill supplies (coffee supplies, doughnuts, put out cookies & cider in season, bathrooms, towels and spa cups).
- Know all safety and emergency procedures and how to respond to each situation. Be aware of accident prevention policies. General: 1. Maintain an excellent understanding of safety and emergency procedures as they relate to the safety of owners, guests, and the property. 2. The Employee must be familiar with the rules and regulations as set in WVR Employee handbook. 3. All employees must be familiar with property(s) amenities and hours of operations. 4. Work closely with the Front Office Manager for group arrivals, clubhouse set up and breakdown. 5. Be familiar with the weekly work schedule and aware that it may change at times depending on occupancy to accommodate business demands. 6. Keep the front lobby and parking lot picked up and clean of all trash. Keep ashtrays clean in lobby. 7. Neat and orderly bell storage must be kept at all times. All stored luggage must be properly tagged. 8. Read and initial daily log book at front desk and the bell desk. 9. Attend all department and all employee meetings when requested.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. bending and stooping 2. lifting items 30 pounds or more. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 1. Understanding of providing effective and efficient guest services generally associated with hotel type operations 2. Possess sensitivity to the needs of guests and owners of high quality condominium property.
