Grand Hyatt Manila is the first Grand Hyatt hotel in the Philippines. As we build a vibrant, passionate and fun-loving team, we are seeking a well-experienced Sales Manager to assist in the achievement of budgeted room and event revenues across all market segments. Priority is to ensure that the hotel will be the leader for revenue yield in the 5 star category.

Grand Hyatt Manila will feature 461 luxurious and suites, an entertainment complex, state of the art events spaces and an array of F&B options that provide an abundance of culinary delights, and a Fitness center and Spa.

As a pre-opening team member, you will be involved in preparing the hotel for a successful opening. You will pave the way for generating new business, and leverage on World of Hyatt to encourage loyal Hyatt guests to enjoy the grand life. You will ensure that rooms revenue is within expectation, maximize revenue and profits, and drive hotel's positive performance in the marketplace.

Moving forward you will develop, implement, maximize, monitor and evaluate the hotel's Sales Strategy to achieve and exceed forecasted revenue figures in Rooms, Events and all other revenue generating departments. You will ensure sales activities are aligned with the corporate marketing strategy and hotel actions have been implemented where appropriate. You will be review sales files and systems to ensure correct booking procedures, including group room and meeting programme history, contractual agreements, room block analysis, credit and payment documents.

To be successful in this role, you will have 2 years experience in hotel corporate sales handling RFP accounts. You have a high capacity to learn and well developed selling and negotiating skills. Your positive attitude and passion to excel in delivering moments of more to our colleagues and guests, together with your confidence and high level of personal presentation will ensure your success in this role.

Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality or Tourism management

Minimum 2 years work experience as Sales Manager in a 5 star luxury property. Good problem solving, strategy formulation, account development, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
