Job Summary:
Chef De Cuisine will be responsible to monitor purchasing, receiving, store, cost control to staff management as well as creating and enhancing menus. He not only has to think outside the box, but also to reinvent the ideas on food promotions.
Chef De Cuisine ensures that operating procedures for food quality are followed and compliant with the regulatory requirements of Shangri-La Food Safety Management System. He must coordinate and work with the Food & Beverage team & Stewarding team to ensure excellent service delivery and service standards are meet every time
In conjunction with the Executive Chef and F&B management team, provides leadership and direction to the culinary team to ensure the highest standards of food production, quality, taste, presentation and hygiene within the hotel; maximizing Associate, Guest and Owner satisfaction.


• Culinary certificate or apprenticeship
• Has a European Fine Dining experience
• Previous experience as Sous Chef in medium to large scale kitchen
• Minimum 1 years previous work experience in a similar capacity with an international world-class hotel
• HACCP and Health & Safety certificate
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences
• Genuine team player
• Strong leadership and good presentation skills
• Highly motivated, energetic and with a great personality
