Job Summary - (Role Summary)
This role will manage relationships with Card Associations and Merchant Services Providers for card acceptance operations. This role will focus on day to day franchised hotels card acceptance operations, managing performance analysis derived from daily trends, partner with IHG support for trend/analysis review and Card Association business reviews. This role will be the Subject Matter advisor working with business and stakeholders relating to card acceptance focusing on franchised and enterprise operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - (Key Activities)
• Provide payment acceptance best practices to internal stakeholders that include hotels, operations, support team, business support, warm team and technology on a global basis based on day to day operations trend analysis and business reviews.
• Interpret and communicate card association/networks rules and regulations in each country to the relative business - hotels, operations, technology
• Manage card acceptance relationships with card associations to include operational business reviews
• Manage relationships with Merchant Services Providers on a global basis to include operational business reviews, support to hotels on centralized processing systems and monitor Service Level Agreement and performance
• Manage ad hoc request and projects from business and stakeholders relating to payment acceptance as one of the Subject Matter advisor
• Manage Global Brand Standards process and review relating to payments acceptance operations with Brand Standards and Operations teams. This would include maintaining global acceptance and Merchant Services Providers lists and process<br><br> REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education -

Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree in Finance and work related experience.

Experience -
5+years credit card operations experience and experience in accounting and/or financial process management, reporting and analysis.

Technical skills and Knowledge -
• Demonstrated experience with cards acceptance for merchants
• Demonstrate cards acceptance operations experience Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, including both verbal for the purpose of negotiating with vendors and partners, and providing information to internal departments, clients, and vendors.
• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to use the results of analysis to make effective recommendation to solve problems.
• Strong customer focus orientation
