Our hotel is currently looking for a Duty (Assistant) Manager to join our supportive & professional Front Office team.

As Duty (Assistant) Manager you will be involved in all pertinent matters affecting guest service and hotel operations. In this role you will be supervising and supporting the Front Office Supervisor and Guest Service Agents.

A key focus for the Duty (Assistant) Manager is to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition during their stay. Other responsibilities include; checking of billing instructions, monitoring guest credit, analysing and approving discounts and rebates, assisting guest relations in greeting and rooming and working with HR on manpower planning and management needs.<br><br> Ideally, you will have a m inimum 3 years experience in a hotel front office environment with 2 years experience as a team leader, supervisor or Duty Manager. You will have e xcellent customer relations, problem solving and time management skills, a w orking knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Fidelio, Opera and Lanmark and an u nderstanding of point of sales systems such as Micros.
