Wyndham Vacation Ownership is currently seeking a Manager of Learning & Development in Orlando, Florida. This position is responsible for the design, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of the leadership development strategy for the Strategy & Integration teams. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining programs that will reinforce our unique competitive edge by developing the soft skills in our associates. It will encompass a consistent process including definitions, approaches and resources throughout the Strategy & Integration division that are aligned with WVO's core competencies.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


- Project Management: Partner with the Sr. Director, L&D and Field HR to manage the design, development, implementation, assessment and sustainment of Strategy & Integration soft skill learning initiatives. This includes partnering with the field teams to perform job analysis that will define knowledge and skill requirements of functional sales and marketing positions in order to develop the training curriculum.
- Program Development: Partner with L&D Instructional Designer to ensure that all training curriculum meet the needs of the client and meet sales & marketing leadership requirements. Ensure that all delivery methods are being explored and utilized including virtual and distance learning.
- Facilitation & Training: Serves as subject matter expert of learning curriculum; teaches content to associates at all levels to accelerate learning and enhance skills. Adjusts training style and methods as needed to meet the needs of learners. Involved in participant selection process to ensure alignment of learning goals with target audience.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain a working relationship with field HR teams, and Sales and Marketing field teams to reinforce vision and training guidelines. Responsible for ensuring relevance, consistency and quality of curriculum and its delivery.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Works with L&D team, HR field and Recruitment teams to support inclusion and diversity goals with regard to sourcing, attracting, selecting, retaining, and developing key talent in the leadership pipeline program.


Qualifications
Education

- Four year college degree in a related field, preferred or 7+ years experience in a similar role with a similar scope
Training requirements

- 4 years facilitation experience required
- Certifications preferred
- Experience with Learning Management systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite and Project Management
Knowledge and skills

- Project Management
- Sales & Marketing Operations
- Communication skills. Ability to interact with levels as well as ability to interact with a geographically diverse team.
- Ability to develop, deliver and sustain training programs for clients with technology, staffing and geographical challenges.
- Ability to design and facilitate virtual training programs
- Accepted and innovative training methodologies, theories and practices
- Training evaluation and assessment.
Technical Skills

- Learning Management Systems
- Virtual learning platforms (Web-ex preferred)
Job experience

- 5-7 years progressive experience in a related field
- Preferred experience working with sales & marketing operations functions
- Project management experience preferred.
