Join us as a Storeperson at InterContinental Sydney Double Bay located in Sydney's exclusive leafy green Eastern Suburbs. You'll have ambition, talent and obviously, some key skills. Because, for this vital role, we're looking for someone who can join our passionate and innovative team and we will give you the platform to further develop your skills and build your experience in a five star luxury hotel.

In this role, you will support the hotel operations and drive financial returns by ensuring correct receipt of all orders. You will assist in the smooth running of all aspects of the hotel's purchasing and receiving of goods including all ordering through our online purchasing system, Market Boomer, establishing relationships with suppliers, checking and storing of all incoming items, ensuring maximum/minimum stock levels of all items, promote compliance internally with established standards and assist in stock taking and cost control initiatives.

This is a great role and opportunity for someone who is seeking to further develop their procurement and finance knowledge.<br><br> Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar field or position; experience in hotel is preferable. Previous experience is desirable but not essential. You will have the ability to interact with customers, colleagues and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company. You will have excellent knowledge of Gmail, Microsoft Excel, and knowledge of Marketboomer and PeopleSoft software would be an advantage. This role requires the successful applicant to be available to work from Tuesday - Saturday from 8am - 4pm with the flexibility to work other days/hours as required based on business demand.
