Yield Analyst I

This position is responsible for managing allocation and distribution for rental inventory and rates for a portfolio of resorts. Analyze competitive price sets and market demand with an eye to maximizing RevPar and or Top Line Revenue while balancing the need for occupancy to drive incremental revenue for the HOA, Developer and VOI at each resort. Ensure that pricing strategy is achieved among all sales channels. Set up new properties on rental program on all systems, including rates, amenities, and availability across multiple sales channels. Adjust inventory availability and rates based on market trends, demand and pace reports. Use booking trends and unit availability to recommend weekly forecasting adjustments. Collaborate with Rental Sales and Marketing Teams on promotions, campaigns and new distribution channels. Responsibilities also include displaying and executing the Count on Me behaviors of a Wyndham employee which consist of being responsive, respectful, and delivering a great experience.

Essential Job Functions

Sales and Inventory Analysis.

Analyze new sales activity, competitive pricing and current availability to determine Changes to rates and allocation of inventory on multiple sales channels.

Work with sales staff to establish annual pricing structure.

Set up new properties for participation in the rental program.

Availability updates for the team.

Report and discuss changes to availability and rates to sales staff.

Daily Forecasting.

Participate in weekly forecast meetings by offering insight into booking.

Trends and current availability in order to recommend forecast adjustments.

Participate in pricing reviews and apply rate changes.

Partner with other departments.

Partner with Inventory Management for allocation opportunities.

Coordinate with resorts and Admin teams for changes to reservation fulfillment.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications


4 year degree in finance, business management or related field

Knowledge and skills

Familiarity with the timeshare and/or tourism industries

Must be able to multi-task and prioritize work

Must be able to remain focused and attentive to detail in order to maintain accuracy

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly

Must work well under pressure and deadlines

Ability to work independently

Must have strong collaborative skills

Ability to identify and resolve problems related to guest services

Technical Skills

Extensive background using MS Excel and Word

Knowledge of RCC

Knowledge of Micros Opera

Knowledge of I-Hotelier

Knowledge of EZ Yield

Knowledge of Delphi, Delphi.net or Delphifdc

Job experience

3 years of Resort Operations, Pricing or Revenue Management experience

Unless there is a legal requirement, experience will be accepted for the education requirement .
